PROGRAMS

What will I learn
We offer state of the art hair cutting, hair coloring, and texture courses, as well as courses in manicure and pedicure techniques, makeup application, facials, and professional development. Our students graduate believing they can be successful beauty professionals.

HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?
Most locations offer two options. Day school will take approximately 10 months to complete while our night school will take students approximately two years to complete. While the training is a large commitment, the long term reward of an exciting and engaging career awaits each of our graduates.

HOW MUCH TIME IS SPENT IN THE CLASSROOM?
Students spend half of the day in the classroom working with our specialists to develop skills in haircutting, coloring, and texture along with refining their technique in makeup application and professional business development.

HOW DIFFICULT ARE THE TESTS AND CLASSES?
Each of our students are required to take written examinations that are designed to the level of a person who has earned a GED certificate or high school diploma.

HOW WILL MY DAY BE STRUCTURED?
The first eight weeks (16 weeks if you are attending night school) is the Freshman portion of training. Our students learn the basic fundamentals of hair cutting, coloring, and styling. At the end of this phase students begin participating in a series of evaluations, at which point they can become eligible to work on actual clients in our academy salon. For the duration of the program, students will spend half of the day gaining hands-on experience with our guest clientele and the other half continuing their education in the classroom. As students progress through the training, skin care, make-up and nail technology are introduced along with advanced hair techniques.

IF I STRUGGLED IN HIGH SCHOOL, WILL I BE ABLE TO MASTER THESE SKILLS?
Our instructors are trained to help Students learn as effectively as possible. Their goal is to make sure all of our graduates move on to successful careers.
