Provo, Utah (June 16, 2010) – Paul Mitchell Schools announced that Dean and Cofounder Winn Claybaugh is a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010 Award in the Utah Region. According to Ernst & Young LLP, the awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Claybaugh was selected as a finalist from nearly 100 nominations by a panel of independent judges. Award winners were announced at a special gala event on June 2, 2010 at the Salt Palace Convention Center.
“I feel very honored, first to be nominated, and then to even become a finalist. The passion and drive of an entrepreneur has been alive and strong in me for as long as I can remember. The benefits of that entrepreneurial way of life can sometimes be few and far between, so this acknowledgement from Ernst & Young is sweet.”
