The Philadelphia Team

Jackie is a graduate of the American Beauty Academy and loves the fashion and beauty industry. She is passionate about the school and the students’ success.

A great day for her is hearing a student, on the day of their graduation, talk about how completing those 1250 hours was the greatest achievement of their life and how they are moving on to become the greatest success they can possibly be.

Jackie Jopling  | Academy Director

Kelly is a graduate of Temple University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Education. After teaching in the Philadelphia School District she realized she wanted more. She always had a strong desire to be a part of the world of cosmetology. With that in mind, she enrolled and soon graduated from her cosmetology and teachers course. She has served in all capacities from teaching to financial aid to office administration and admissions. Kelly relates well to prospective students because she still remembers the excitement she felt upon starting her new career path.

She is knowledgeable about not only admissions but the skills and business of cosmetology. Kelly is a former State Board Exam proctor, and has served on the advisory board for a public arts and technology center and is an active member of the National Cosmetology Educators Association. “Your only limitation is lack of imagination.”
