Diane graduated from the teachers’ program at a local cosmetology school in 1988. She then went on to teach there from 1989 until 1993. In 1992, she began her career with a national hair salon, won manager of the year out of 10 salons and remained with them for 15 years. Currently, she works as a barber in a local salon. In 2010, she started a new chapter of her life when she began teaching. Diane is very proud of her heritage. As an American Indian, she travels with her family to various Pow-Wows. She loves to plant flowers and spend time with her 3 grandchildren who live in New York.
